What makes this studio tick

◆

We start by taking things apart

Before any plan gets made, we map what you already have. Every process, every assumption, every piece that's been sitting in the wrong slot. Only then do we start rearranging.

◆

Nothing gets locked in too early

We build in stages, with deliberate pause points where you can change your mind. A good plan should be rearrangeable, not a contract carved in stone.

◆

You get the actual kit, not just the report

Every engagement ends with something you can pick up and use: a working framework, a set of templates, a decision map. Not a 60-page PDF that lives in a drawer.

How much of your time can you give to this right now?

04 / 04

What would a good outcome look like?

Here is where we'd suggest starting

Based on your answers, the Business Diagnostic or a Founder's Thinking Day is likely the most useful first step. Both are designed to help you see the problem clearly before committing to a solution. Have a look at the current services or just get in touch and we'll talk it through.

Who does the work

Founder, Established since 2019

Amelia Whitfield

Amelia Whitfield spent ten years in operations and strategy roles before founding Amber Rocket in 2019. She trained in systems thinking through a postgraduate programme in organisational design and spent several years helping mid-sized companies figure out why their internal processes had stopped making sense. She is particularly interested in the moment when a business's original logic stops fitting its current size, and what it takes to redesign from the inside. Outside of client work, she builds scale models of mid-century industrial machinery, which she describes as the same skill set, just quieter.

FAQ

Common questions

Q.How does a project actually start?

It starts with a short call, usually thirty minutes, where you tell us what's going on and we ask a lot of questions. If it sounds like a good fit, we'll send a one-page proposal within three working days. No lengthy intake process, no automated questionnaire.

Q.Can I change the scope once we've started?

Yes, within reason. We build deliberate pause points into every engagement specifically so you can redirect if something more important surfaces. We'd rather adjust the plan than keep working on the wrong thing. Any significant scope change gets a short written note so we're both clear on what shifted.
